OK

An old friend of mine came over and looked at my car. He noticed I still had another Rx3 and went off at me, Said I was a hog and other kind words. He thinks I should sell 1 so the car will be on the track again you cant drive 2 cars at once. I have been stewing for a couple of weeks now. I will never let someone driver my cars, learnt that with my brother 20 years ago.
So is it greedy to have 2 cars. I don’t think so but I’m sure everyone else says yes. The car is complete but needs panel work/painted and engine. I was offer a lot of money about 5 years ago but it would have gone to New Zealand and I wanted it to stay here.

So do I consider selling my dream car that I will not complete for some time or let it sit for another 10 years?

I think my mate had an alternate motive anyway. He does want to buy it but has no money well not enough in my opinion. I know there are people out there would kill for a Group C car but am I greedy.

Any coments and be kind I am about to redo my will:)

YOU are a greed bastard!
but is that a bad thing...i think not.
if you can aford to restore 2 cars good on you, if you cant and the car is not deteriorating and is in dry storage good on you again.

if it were me id get all the info on this cars history,pics,events,drivers...ect....
and store it in time you may win lotto and you'll be in a good shape for a resto.

or do the same info pack and hand ball it (@ a cost) to a fellow enthusist.

SO HOW MUCH......

instead of blowing your own trumpet and teasing every one with it, post some details, photo's and a price or put it up for sale, if it's genuine and the price is right, the cash is is here ready to go!!!

WOW:eek:

I have never thought of selling this car ever. It was bought to my attention and thought I would say it. No trumpet blowing:mad:

It is genuine. I only know of 6 Group C Rx3's still around? That's trumpet blowing.

That was my point really, do you hang on to something knowing it won't be on the track! Or let someone else with the time and money to do it?
I think there are lots of genuine Group C cars around but not on the track.

It's not for sale at the moment. I am spending all my time finishing my other car and running out of time basically
BUT I will put the car together so I can take photos, as for price? it will be offers or go to auction? The second owner was interest in it as well.

This is not the for sale section so I won't discuss the sale here. It was just a topic brought to my attention and has turn into something else.

Is there need for discussion like this on website dedicated to Historic Motor Racing? If you guys are serious about buying a Group C/A car, go and find one, there are a number around. They probably aren't advertised for sale but serious people seem to be able to find them.
