I will soon be selling my AE82 FX-GT Corolla as my other one (Bob Holdens very 1st Sprinter) is almost finished a 6 year restoration.

This car was built by TOM's Japan for TOM's GB to contest the BTCC & ETCC. In the hands of Phil Dowsett, it had class wins for 1988 & 89, with 2nd outright in 1988 behind a BMW.

Pics available on my business website
www.roadandtrack.net.au. Go to "gallery/track cars"

This car was used by Bob Holden for a while before selling it to Frank Binding. Its last major event was Bathurst 1993.

The car has been tidied up, not restored, and its provenance is beyond doubt. It has a current COD & historic logbook. Over the past few years I have just done running repairs, but it will be sold with a freshly rebuilt engine.

The car comes with a considerable technical and historical file, original log-book, plus lots of spares including several sets of wheels & tyres, various panels , bumpers, lights etc.

Interested parties can call me direct on 0417-687161. .

I am getting keener to move this car as my other car is almost ready. open to sensible offers folks

amazingly I've had 1000 lookers at this advert and not 1 seriuous enquiry.

I'm starting to consider stripping it for parts as I can get good $ for some of the bits. hate to do this, but thats how it goes.

over 1500 people have read this advert and i've only had a few calls , mostly from people wanting to reminisce.

anyhow folks, this has to be sold soon to fund another GpA project that I'm not allowed to touch till this one is gone.

open to serious offers but please dont insult me cause i'm motivated to sell. bring cash in paper bag and we'll haggle.

finders fee to any association member who refers a non-member to me and they buy the car. paid in cash

If your selling the car at a good price Terry, it might help to hang a ballpark $$ on her. Good luck!

thanks for the comment chris. i originally advertised it for $60k + spares, but i guess i have over-priced it for the current market. having said that, its a fraction of what one would pay for a V8 type car, and also less than the cost to restore any serious race car let alone build one, so its an ideal entry car/price for historic racing.
open to offers from people with cash ready
