Histroric race meeting promoters usually ask for the year of the car on the entry form. What do we put? The year the chassis was built, the year it was first registered with CAMS or the year it now represents?
e.g. my car was built by Toyota as a standard production car in 1983 and became somebody's daily driver. In 1986 Bob Holden converted it into a race car and it was issued with a CAMS logbook. I am now restoring the car to it's 1987 specification and livery.
So what do i put on an entry form, 1983, 1986 or 1987?
