NISSAN GT-R TOURING CAR RACING CLASSIC
NISSAN HERITAGE MOTORSPORT has been successful in negotiations with NISSAN Australia. To run a THREE VENUE RACE SERIES for both Group A & C cars.
THIS THREE EVENT SERIES WILL BE KNOWN AS THE
“NISSAN GT-R TOURING CAR CLASSIC”
It will be contested this year over 3 major venues namely...... PHILLIP ISLAND HISTORICS [MARCH], LAKESIDE HISTORICS [AUGUST] AND THE MUSCLE CAR MASTERS [SEPTEMBER].
Trophy’s will be given for outright First, Second & Third places and will be presented at the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek
The event will be open to all eligible GROUP “A” AND GROUP “C” CARS irrespective if you are Group C club member or not.
In fairness to all the NISSAN GT-R’s [R32], while able to compete in the series will not be eligible to earn points and therefore won’t be in the point score. The point score mechanism will be in collaboration with the GROUP C ASSOCIATION and follow similar criteria (Class Winners) but because it is over only Three venues, points will also be awarded for participating in all 3 EVENTS.
WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT ALL CATAGORIES OF CARS IRRESPECTIVE IF YOU ARE A 2LTR GROUP C OR OTHER CAN EARN SUFFICIENT POINTS TO WIN THIS SERIES.

Beyond the Nissan supplied Trophy’s we are in NEGOTIATION with a number of other sponsors to supply an additional prize to the HIGHEST POINT SCORE WINNER
TO PARTICIPATE, ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS TO REGISTER YOUR INTENTION TO COMPETE BY CONTACTING either the Group C association or Rod Markland or Terry Ashwood
