There seems to be quite a few entries for Morgan Park in July, so how many people are likely to run at Lakeside on 7-8 August as well?
I'm planning on doing both.

All pigs airborne and OK, I'm in for both. Def' Lakeside anyways. If anyone has an enclosed trailer and needs storage up here. Just call.
Cheers, Chris.

I'm in, just such a cool track.
Anyone coming that hasnt been there before just make sure you muffle the hell out of the car, 95 db and they are real strict on it especially in practice, can really mess up your day or weekend if you’re being black flagged every session and in between trying to make the thing quieter.
Seems that an exhaust exiting on the left hand side of the car is an advantage, also helps to have the exhaust tip deflecting onto the ground not straight out the side.

Here are some more details and entry forms for this event.
Shannons and QLD Raceway are going to a lot of effort and expense to make this a great meeting.
For instance, for those competitors travelling from VIC and NSW they are offering travel incentives of $500 and $250 respectively.
They want to make this event an annual occurrenceand build from this year, so all the support we can give the better.
This event is part of the "Nissan Heritage Motorsport " series which is a 3 race competition for both Group C/A' competitors. The series started at Phillip Island earlier this year and includes the Lakeside meeting and culminates at the Muscle Car Masters in September. There is no need to register nor do you need to be a club member...all that is needed is to race at these events.
Nissan GTR's are the only cars not eligible to win the series but can race in the event. So it is not too late for anyone to get involved provided the competing car has a "C of D".
The point score is very fair and structured that either category of car can win so therefore it may not be the fastest car that will take away the prize. First prize, other than a trophy, is a 47" TV valued over $1500 and second prize is a Bowden's cleaning kit valued at over $250.
Entry forms are available here now.

Actually, there is a DR30 entered as well (owned by Caroline Kruger and driven by Craig Markland). So now it is back to three Nissan's to beat, Chris! Good luck!
