Hi Coxy,
Which car is yours?
I have been through all the posts in that forum and would have to say it is the best collection of unpublished photos of Australian motor sport I have seen anywhere.
Looks like David P is on the job and will track down Malscar for you. Meanwhile, if you right click on any image in the post, you can select 'save picture as' and drop it into your PC C drive folder of your choice. The image quality is quite good and will be at the same resolution it was saved as in the post.
Fow anyone else here is the link to have a look

Hi David and Willofan, my car is the ex John White PF60E twin cam group A Gemini, as shown in this pic of malscar's at calder (it's the white/red one):

This is the latest pic i have found of it's group A racing, and it is hinted in that thread that he has more :) The car needs to be put back to group A spec as it has been used in IPRA for a few years, but thankfully nothing is cut and i have the original logbook...
If anyone else can tell me anything about the car especially what was the last group A race it competed in, i'd be most greatful. the logbook says it was last raced in the 80's at winton on the 5/11/88, and just before that on the 27/5/88 at sandown. Does anyone know if those two dates were ATCC rounds?

I feel I should give you all a very serious warning about that thread on the Biante forum.....it's habit forming and could see you while away many hours marvelling at the unpublished photos from various forms of racing over the years, it's brilliant!!

G'day Coxy, 27/5/88 at Sandown was Round 7 of the 1988 ATCC. 5/11/88 at Winton doesn't appear in AMRY 18, perhaps it was a clubbie or a State meeting?

sweet as, at least then i know it was run in 1988, i'll have to compare the rules between 87 and 88..
ps sorry for the thread derailment!
pps do we have a pics thread in this forum somewhere? i have a few of my dad's old LJ Xu1 at lakeside & surfers in 77 & 78..

Isn't this pic the main straight at Oran Park with the embankment around the last turn in the background? (sheds a tear)
