9/72 build LJ Torana S, 6 cylinder 4 speed, done up as a GTR XU-1 lookalike in March 17, an original XU-1 colour. The car has an FIA spec steel cage, Group Nc Historic logbook and is ready to race. The engine is being freshened up by State Championship winning engine builder Lester Baguley, and has counterbalanced crank, custom billet rods, forged positions, roller cam and Yella Terra roller rockers, baffled, enlarged sump, finned alloy rocker cover, HM headers and triple 48mm Dellortoes.
Car comes with two M20 Holden 4 speed gearboxes and two locked diff centres, 3.55 & 3.36. 10 of 13x7 hotwire mags and 4 of 13 x 6 ½ jellybeans, all with used Yokohama A032R or Toyo 888 tyres. Front brakes are Volvo 4 spot callipers on ventilated BMW rotors, rear brakes are standard XU-1 9” drums. Koni shocks and King springs all round. Huge alloy custom radiator and custom heat exchanger. FIA 6 point harness and large seat also included. Car is well presented and reliable.
1:15 at Morgan Park, 1:30 at Qld Raceway, 1:05 at Lakeside, 1:56 at Eastern Creek, 1:25 at Oran Park GP, 1:15 at Wakefield and 2:45 at Bathurst. Car will go several seconds faster with better driver! Has run top 10 at Bathurst!
Heaps of spares, including bonnets, boot lids, door, windows, suspension arms, rear axle housing, rack, brake pads, bumpers, lights etc.
