Autopics Proofs on DVD

I received an email from Autopics this week with something that I think may be worthwhile to a few of our members. Details are as follows.

We have just released a DVD of The Great Race. Phillip Island 1960 to 1962 and Bathurst 1963 to 1996.

Now you can view every image from the Autopics collection of The Great Race - over 30,000 images.

Over 30,000 images are arranged in Proof Sheet format covering the Great Race from 1960 when it started at Phillip Island up to 1996 at Bathurst. Entry lists for each race are included, and in the later years, support race images with entry lists.

The DVD has the work of a number of great motorsport photographers All Peter D’Abbs images from Phillip Island 1960 to 1962 All Lance J Ruting’s images from Bathurst 1963 to 1996 All Ray Simpson’s images from Bathurst 1984 to 1996 And many more photographers collections from Bathurst.

My DVD arrived from Autopics this morning. If you have a car that competed in The Great Race it is really worthwhile.

There are over a dozen shots of my car on the DVD that aren't shown on the website.

Agree - I have found heaps of photos of the cars not previously known to be available. It was money well spent and you will spend hours trawling through them

OK, you talked me into it, I just ordered a copy. My car did 6 great Races, so it should be on there a couple of times.
